This helpful video shows @impactforgood_‘s fifth day of an eco-conscious Christmas “where Christmas is wholesome and peaceful instead of being rooted in overconsumption and hurry,” Jess says in her TikTok video.

Jess explains that normal wrapping paper has a plastic lining, which means it can never fully break down. Let’s face it, we already have enough of a plastic problem in the world. Thankfully, she shares some tips on alternatives that you can use to wrap your gifts.

Jess says to reuse the old wrapping paper you already have, use old gift bags, craft paper, newspaper, paper bags, or more! The alternatives are endless! There is even dissolvable wrapping paper on the market now!
