Forests around the world are being logged and destroyed at a dangerous rate, and toilet paper is one of the culprits. Procter & Gamble owns the company that manufactures the popular brand Charmin toilet paper. Charmin could produce its paper more sustainably and maintain soft, high-quality tissue. Seventh Generation, another toilet paper company, uses 100% recycled content to make its paper. Some other companies even use bamboo products. Procter & Gamble made over $80 billion in revenue last year. There is no excuse for a company worth hundreds of billions of dollars to continue contributing to deforestation. Please sign this petition now to demand the multinational corporation Procter & Gamble finally commit to using environmentally friendly materials to create its Charmin toilet paper!
