Man Enlists the Help of an Animal Rescue to Propose to His Girlfriend in the Most Adorable Way

When you plan a proposal to your significant other, your mind probably goes to a candle-lit dinner and relaxing music. You probably don’t think of an enlisting the help of a kitten for your grand gesture. Well, that is, unless you’re an animal lover!

Recently, Marty was planning to propose to his girlfriend, Danielle, but wanted to make the occasion special. And really cute. So he called Stray Rescue of St. Louis and asked if they could bring kittens up for adoption to the place where he was going to get down on one knee. How sweet is that!?

She said YES both to Marty, as well as a little furball named Dustin. Danielle had her eye on adopting a kitten for a while, so with her fiance’s help (and the help of Stray Rescue of St. Louis), they made the adoption final! 

Looks like these two lovebirds are starting their lives out the right way … by helping another life! We wish Marty, Danielle, and little Dustin many years of (adorable) happiness! 

If you’re thinking of taking a cue from Marty, keep in mind that adding a pet to your family is a lifelong commitment that shouldn’t be taken lightly. Make sure every member of the family understands that a pet should be cared for in sickness and health, in good times and bad – just like you would any other family member. And remember to always adopt and never shop!
