In the eyes of the law, animal companions are seen as mere property, which means their well-being isn’t considered when it comes to who gets custody over them in divorce cases. However, a new bill was introduced in Pennsylvania which would allow judges to decide who gets custody of the animal based on who cared for them more financially, who took them to the vet, and other relevant factors. Please sign this petition to urge Pennsylvania lawmakers to pass this important bill!
