Baby Learns How to Play With Cats and Thinks it’s the Funniest Thing

A video shared of a baby giggling uncontrollably while playing with two cats went viral on the internet after it was shared on Reddit.

The video, shared with the caption, “My baby learned how to play with the cats and thinks it’s the funniest thing ever,” went viral with hundreds gushing at the baby in hysterics.

The clip shared by Reddit user kirbzy shows a baby lying on the floor and waving a toy wand in front of one of her cats. The baby is laughing uncontrollably and, later in the video, rolls onto her back and waves the wand in another direction. Another cat jumps in on the action, which the baby thought was the funniest thing in the world.

The original poster told Newsweek that the cats were a little apprehensive of the baby at first, but “learning to play from a distance really helped them bond, especially since she is 8 months old and beginning to understand what she is doing.”

Her parents taught her how to wave the wand by holding it in her hand with her until she got the hang of it.

“Since learning to play with them on her own, they have slowly started to warm up to her even when she doesn’t have the rope,” the original poster said.

Reddit users gushed over the post, with one saying, “Excellent entertainment for all 3 babies.”

“That is adorable. Cute baby and kitty. They both seem to be really enjoying themselves,” another wrote.
