The Look on the Face of This Foster Kitten When He Discovered He Was Going Home for Good Is Priceless

Laughter isn’t the only thing that’s contagious! You can’t help but crack a smile seeing how happy this kitten is after he learned he finally got a forever home. The kitten, named Ziggy, came into the care of the Itty Bitty Kitty Committee with his brothers Bowie and Duke (also known as the rockstar trio) after they were found in West Virginia with severe eye infections. Ziggy received treatment for his eye and went into foster care to recover.

The day finally came when Ziggy headed to an adoption event at Petsmart and found his forever family! Clearly, he couldn’t be more ecstatic about his new home — check out that smile!

According to Ziggy’s foster mom, he made a smooth transition into his new home, and he didn’t even know when she left!

Ziggy previously bonded to his brother Bowie, but now he is in love with his new family, which includes a mom and dad, a sister, and a new “brofur” (cat brother)! As you can see, Ziggy also loves lounging on the sofa!

Ziggy’s story is one of hope for the thousands of homeless pets still awaiting rescue and a second chance to find safe, loving, forever homes. With millions of cats entering shelters every year across the U.S., it is so important to adopt rather than shop for a new feline friend. It is equally important to spay or neuter your pets! By doing both of these things, you can help reduce the homeless pet population and give opportunities to other cats who are waiting for a forever home.
