The groundhog may say six more weeks of winter but this cute video of a mother cat hugging her small kitten will warm your heart to spring.

The two fur balls cuddling together are definitely precious and adorable. The close up angle of the video shows you the intimacy between the two beautiful cats, as a sense of protectiveness shines through the mother’s eyes.

The mother is Coco and the kitten she is hugging is Pavel, one of six kittens from her litter. Watch out for other heads to occasionally pop up in the background — those are Pavel’s siblings.

All in all this video will make any cold winter day feel warmer. Watch below and get ready for a collective “awww” that these two inspire.
